Feel Your

With studios in Old Fourth Ward and East Atlanta Village, {sacred} thread yoga is home to some of Atlanta's most experienced and inspiring teachers. An urban oasis for strong vinyasa flow, our goal is to help you access your strength on the mat but leave you feeling renewed through pranayama, meditation or elements of mantra often left behind in a Westernized yoga practice.  We believe in the concept of "local" and value students as an asset to our community -- both our yoga community and our neighborhoods.  {sacred} thread offers classes appropriate for all experience levels, as well as private instruction, yoga teacher training and workshops on mantra and meditation.  {sacred} thread is actively involved with the non-profit, Operation P.E.A.C.E., as well as other organizations in Old Fourth Ward and East Atlanta, and maintains a commitment to making yoga accessible for all.

Our Story

Our studio was founded in 2012 by Deborah Quibell.  She dreamt of a space where students could tap into sacred energy.

Our utilization of curly braces around the word “sacred” is because of the thought that what is “sacred” would be defined by the student and not imposed by the studio.

Said More Simply;  Here, "Sacred" is Implied and not Imposed.

Understanding the importance of physical activity on developing confidence, managing stress, & identifying what really matters in your Heart, we are on a mission to break the stereotype of “yogi” & bring this powerful practice to all races, sizes, and income-levels.
